Ke A Rona

Words & Music:  Traditional South African.

The cry for freedom in South Africa during the Apartheid years was raised in many languages. Among Sesotho speakers if someone shouted Maatla! (power) the answer would come Ke a rona! (it is ours). If anyone out there is in a position to help us translate the rest of this very stirring song we'd be most grateful!

Ke a rona!
Ke a rona ma ha ta mo
